Walking in Los Angeles
Considering we only arrived in California less than 2.5 days ago, it feels like a lot has happened on our holiday so far. Yesterday the only walking we did was from Hollywood/Western to central 'Hollywood & High'. We walked out there along a slightly less busy
road to the north of Hollywood Boulevard - at least as far as 'Vine'. Whislt the friend I'm with caught the bus back I walked along the main strip - following the avenue of stars until they finished about halfway between 'Vine' & 'Western'. The evening was rather tense - and after a couple of uncomfortable hours in which we clashed over something that, at the time, didn't make sense to me - I understand now that I was attempting

Did I hear right that the bottled water you buy in the store are toxic?
I mean you keep filling the bottle to the gym with water and over time degrades plastic bottle quality and subsequently becomes toxic?
Is true or false?

I do water bottles. These water bottles are generally made clear from a type of plastic called PET. They do not decompose over time. Wherever I may be some truth is that most of PET bottles can be washed in hot water, without distortion. So you might have a sanitation problem not wash properly. However, if you do use water, mild detergent in warm water will probably just right. If you use them for a drink made of sugar, this might be a bit more of a problem. Also, some of the new pets are biodegradable. I do not know much about them yet.But I sincerely doubt the FDA would allow a toxic substance to a container of food.
The "heavier" reusable bottles made from HDPE (such as use of the bicycle riders) are generally washed in hot water, and should last as long as you want. Again, the plastic does not decompose, it's just a matter of hygiene.
Check the bottom of the bottle to find out. The recycling code will tell you.
