It is designed with hydro formed frame which uses a high-pressure injection of emulsion of hot water and oil into an aluminum tube that expands it to match the mould. The new bike comes with an aluminum front suspension system and 24-speed derailleur system with Shimano Alivio Rapid Fire shifters.

The lightweight system, which presently costs a whopping $1,999 for shifters, housing, front and rear derailleurs, is said to be 175g lighter than Shimano XTR and 200g lighter than SRAM XO. Acros were showing off their A-GE hydraulic shifting system at the Interbike show in Las Vegas, which they hope will do the same for shifting as hydraulic discs have done for braking. it would also be great if one of the big 3 licensed the design (sram could produce a version to trump shimano's inevitable electronic xtr perhaps). lol gotta love cable costs being factored in to try and justify the cost. another worry for a mtb di2 version is damaging wires when crashing, the hydraulic lines will be a whole lot tougher. this system makes a whole lot of sense when compared to di2.
