Shimano 105 Bike

Fuji Roubaix 1.0

Fuji are part owned by the Taiwanese Ideal Bike Corporation, who make machines for numerous better-known brands, so there’s plenty of bike-building experience in the Roubaix’s DNA.

It has a TIG-welded aluminium frames and carbon fork, Shimano 105 groupset with FSA standard chainset, and a load of own-brand componentry.

Frame: Typically robust

Minor variations on an established plan

Yesterday I again did the Quad Cycles ride. I seem to have this bad pattern going where I'll do a big ride or hit some other distraction, take a week or two off, and wind up almost starting from scratch, so yesterday's ride was "only" 63 miles and I was pretty wiped when we made it to Starbucks. (I think I'm still on track to hit the September centuries.) After speculatively eyeing the weather for most of the week, it did wind up being a beautfiul day, especially when you were moving, though I also discovered the joys of iced Gatorade when I got home. ( Route map ) Leaving Bedford I figured I'd try going out with the fast group, particularly since they were going to do one of the normal routes.

Can I put a Shimano 105 crankset on a montain bike?

I have an old mountain bike (circa Shogun Trail Breaker 1996) which folded an important cog. I want to use it as a race bike to run the shops etc. Can I use Shimano 105 pedals?

No problems with doing just check the front derailleur clearance and the length of your chain.

Yes you can. You will need to reposition and adjust the front derailleur.
