Winter Games: Bike fans breathe in the air supply at Ray's MTB Indoor Park
Back in the day, kids used to put playing cards in the spokes of their bikes to jazz up a ride, and the closest thing to a daredevil move on a Schwinn was riding hands-free, often followed by another ride -- this time in a car to the local emergency room.
Life has changed, and Ray Petro had the foresight to see that. The former construction worker has converted an old warehouse into what is truly a world-class indoor gem for BMX and mountain bikers, right here in Northeast Ohio. Ray's MTB Indoor Park opened its doors -- and ramps and bumps and well, you get the idea -- in the first part of 2004 and hasn't stopped growing since, in either size or reputation.
Micki's First
We (Steve and Micki; AKA... "Sticki") have known each other since 1995 and been together as a couple since 2001. Micki is intelligent, friendly, health orientated, outgoing and professional. Steve is an aspiring curmudgeon with a creative streak and a appetite for soul crushing adventure as well as foods with far more unknown ingredients. Obviously, the perfect team. Over the years we have explored many parts of AZ, UT, NV, CA and CO either by foot, pushing the skinny pedal or spinning with double pedals. If it's dirt, it will work!
Chicago Schwinn Paramount dating?
My father gave me his Chicago Schwinn Paramount track bike and I am working on restoring. My father said he was not sure of the year but he thinks it's a '72. I have the serial number.

Restoring bike with sewn-up tires?
My dad used to be an avid racer and he has a beautiful 62' Schwinn Paramount track bike. It has reynolds 531 tubing. He is giving it to me and I want to restore it to riding condition.

Yep, decades old tires need to be tossed. If your dad did any amount of riding they wouldn't be original anyhoo.
