Police responded to the 1000 block of E. 3rd St. at 8:27 p.m. Tuesday where the complainant advised someone put $1,239.60 in unauthorized charges on their debit card.

Bikes stolen

Police responded to the 900 block of E. Pershing St. at 10:36 p.m. Tuesday where the complainant advised his blue Schwinn bike had been stolen from the rear of the residence. He had last seen the bike in the morning.

Two wheeling

It all depends on where you live, I suppose, but the bicycle seems to come and go depending on your age. Growing up, the Schwinn Stingray was how I got around. It’s how I got to my buddy’s house, it’s how we got to the drug store to buy Tootsie Rolls and Charlie’s Angels cards. It’s how I got to school. That is when we didn’t walk or when my brother Tommy and I didn’t roll up on a tandem. Then, after all those years of practice and daredevil activity, there was a cycling hiatus. We got around in Chevy vans.

I saw at Costco for $ 260. Is this a good price? Is it still good Schwinn bikes as they did long ago?

Yes, go to a bike shop.

You'll be better at a bike shop, spending about $ 400 on a bike. Why?

I used to have a Schwinn bike as a child ... they were very well done ... I do not know about this person, but I bet it's good!

Does anyone know when the Schwinn Ditch 1.0 Fas bike (with suspension shocks on back) what year it was relased and how much it retailed for?
I want to buy one for $300 is it a good deal?
