I have a Schwinn Clear Creek Comfort Bike target. It is 18 speed. But sometimes when I ride my bike, especially on steep slopes, it seems that the chain is slipping. Are my chain rings too rough?

I would take the bike back and get your money. I read the comments and there are others who have the same problem.
