Don't follow outdated frostbite advice
Frostbite treatment has changed radically since I earned my Boy Scout first-aid merit badge in the 1950s. In the “old days,” you were supposed to rub snow on the frozen foot or hand and keep it in your own or your buddy’s armpit until you could get to the doctor. This approach thawed the frostbitten tissue only partially, which is now a no-no.
For several centuries, the medical thoughts about frostbite treatment derived from the experience of Napoleon’s long and disastrous winter march across Siberian Russia. The impression developed that you should try to thaw frostbitten parts while still out in the bitterly cold elements. There was no “inside” out on the battlefield. If a body part froze in the icy wastelands, it could only melt in the tent camps with the best efforts. Then it would unavoidably refreeze and cause worse and deeper damage.
Bicycle race
So when I’m not freaking out about quitting a full time career, I like to obsessively focus on a variety of hobbies. My latest project has been getting a vintage bike. I found this lovely ‘72 Gitane Grand Sport Deluxe on eBay for a pretty great price in the nearby locale of Baltimore. I picked it up in person with only minor obstacles along the way, such as forgetting there’s a toll on 95 North into Baltimore and having to pay nearly entirely with pennies. As a side note, toll booth operators don’t have a great sense of humor about situations like that.
In any case, the bike turned out to be not such a fantastic deal upon further inspection as it was un-ridable. But, like I said, I like to obsessively get into hobbies, and this was the perfect opportunity to learn the ins and outs of bikes and blow a lot of money I probably should be saving on vintage replacement parts. 2 tires, 1 chain, 4 cables and housing sets, 1 set of brakes, 1 rear dérailleur, 1 seat, 1 rear axle, 18ish bearings, new grip tape, and hours and hours of trial and error later and I present to you, my new bike:

Where can you buy bike parts for Schwinn bikes?
I need a new stabilizer? I think that's the part. It is the little disc thing that the chain goes on. The bike is a Schwinn Traverse 26" Woman's Mountain Bicycle.
I need the part in the picture.

From the diagram on pushon, I think the part you are referring to is called a " Lower jockey wheel".

It's called a spoke protector. It will have the size printed on it. Take the wheel to a bike shop and have them replace it.
