The weather all morning was ominous, with clouds big and dark enough that it you saw them in a movie you'd balk at their obvious symbolism and heavy-handedness. It seemed unlikely that we'd get through the race without some precipitation, (even though it's sparkling Downtown as I write this) and we indeed did not. The cloud omen proved true in another way, as upon opening co-racer Nick's trunk we discovered that his bike tire had developed an incurable (for us) flat, marking the third time in six triathlons his bike has experienced a pre-race deflation. The bike is described as blue, red and yellow. According to police, witnesses left notes on the woman's vehicle, identifying the car that struck hers, said police. At 11:21 p. m. , police were called to the Dix Road Extension for a report of three siblings fighting. , police responded to Cambridge Road for a report of a breaking and entering. According to police, a car attempted to pass a vehicle on the right to overtake the car in front of him. , police responded to Micro Drive for a report of a car window broken. We report all arrests included in the daily police log. According to police, one of the siblings called due to an argument, but that the fight had passed.
