Utah retiree chronicles cross-country bike trek

ST. GEORGE (AP) — It took 65-year-old Hurricane resident Lucy Ormond 90 days and a whole lot of pedaling to get from Washington state to Maine last summer. It didn't come easy, she said during a presentation recently on her cross-country bike trip, but that was what made it so rewarding.
"There wasn't one place on my body that didn't hurt at some point," she said. "Never once did the thought enter my mind that I wouldn't finish the journey."

The next day I left for Chugchilán, which has been one of my favorite places that I visited. The hike started out circling around the volcano and then headed down to the left, passing the town of Guayama, where the inhabitants stared at the gringo with the huge backpack. The hike was exceptionally pretty, and not super long, and this time I managed not to get lost, although the trails were much better maintained in this case and they were also more clearly laid out. When I finally made it up the hill to Chugchilán, I crashed at a lovely little hostel and went out to see what was happening in the town. It was Sunday, and it seemed like the whole town was out in the street--playing volleyball
Question about Trek road bike specs?
Posted by john c in Cycling category on Aug 16, 2008
I have a Trek road bike, aluminum frame, carbon fork, Bontrager wheels and seatpost Ultegra and turnover. (9 speed with 2 faceplates chain) It has no model identification on her, just United States Postal Service and I am wondering how can I find the model? I can not find anything about this on the Trek website. Any help would be appreciated.

The U.S. Postal Service sponsored Lance Armstrong from 1993 until 2003, so it should be in this period of time.
Is this it?
