- Police were called to assist Coventry Police on Hopkins Hill Road after they stopped a truck that had been chased from Queen Street in East Greenwich because residents there believed the driver of the truck had stolen some marijuana plants from... - Police responded to a report of a man on London Street walking with a metal pipe as if he was going to hurt someone with it. Police were directed to a house on Marlborough Street where the woman living there said she’d just broken up with her... EG Police talked to the supposed owner of the plants, who confirmed that the man had been working at his house, but said that he did not have any marijuana plants and that nothing appeared to be missing from his yard. The driver of the truck said he had taken the plants after doing some handyman work at the house and that it had been his intent to turn them over to Coventry Police on his way home. Coventry Police arrested the truck driver for possessing marijuana.
