Welcome to the story of the Irish 66’ers. Read through our brief but memorable history since our inaugural visit to America’s Mother Road, the Will Rogers Highway, to us the Historic Route 66.

In 2002 we paid our first visit to the road that linked America, our return in 2004 planned before we reached California we have since completed the route in 2006 and 2008. Now as we ready for our September 2010 departure many will be adding a 5th notch to their saddlebags, Route 66 has the magic to do that. It is iconic, it is historic, it is wild, it is wonderful and in its totality, it is America.

The folk we meet, the genuine hospitality, the fellow cowboys of the road, the sunrise and sunsets, the scenery all lend to the mixture that makes this wonderful road so beautifully addictive. And what better way to see it than with your friends, on your bike, the immense benefit of mutual recollection forever etched on your life’s history sheet.
