With Patrick in Foreground, Other Women Chase Stock-Car Glory

If Munter had a dollar for every time she has been mistaken for Danica Patrick , the open-wheel racer who will make her stock-car debut here Saturday in an ARCA Series race, she would be one of the better-funded drivers on the stock-car circuit. As it is, money is a constant worry.
A lack of funding rather than a lack of skill prevented Munter, 33, from making her ARCA debut before this year. “I’ve actually tested here several times,” Munter said. “I never had the funding, the sponsorship, to go.”
Its pronounced Bike Reg… like ˌre-jə-ˈstrā-shən
The number one complaint we heard from
racers in 2008 (besides the lack of mud?) were that results were both untimely and incorrect. While overall there weren’t really that many issues, the CCC is making every effort this year to have results done correctly first… and then also quickly after the end of each
race. Remember the officials are standing out in the cold all day (you only have to
race for less than an hour) and basically volunteering too (their compensation is ridiculously small). Keeping track of 75 riders all over a cross course is not an easy thing to do. If you doubt it, we invite you to try it some time. Which brings us to[...]
What is a good bmx dirt racing bike?
Posted by crf250r rider in Cycling category on Jul 17, 2009
Hello I am 5 feet 10 inches and weighs 125 pounds. Right now I'm racing dirt bikes. I want to get into racing BMX dirt. What do you think would be a good bike for me and how much would it cost? There maintence you have to do for motorcycles? How many times do I need to practice until I can run. Beginners are jumping about 20 feet noramally and how difficult it is to race? Many questions will choose a best answer.

I think you're too tall for BMX personally.
Especially if you're still growing? ..
I recommend running downhill mountain biking. More fun too lol ..
But if you are still interested in BMX, here are some models that I love ..
Profile, GT or Redline.
Yes, you must keep the bike as with any machine.
Including lubrication and checking bearings, chain lubrication and replacement head set bearing checking Cup cracks before each race, etc. etc..
Practice, practice, practice as much as you can ..
You can race without practicing, but you will likely come in last..
This is not necessarily the size you can skip this ground traction and a sweetness that wins races.
If you can ride a bike it is relatively easy to race.
Go to some race meetings to watch and ask questions ..
Good luck and I hope this kind of help ...
