We travel all over the country watching him race, and all five of us went down to the British Championships, even the baby. The result marked the perfect end to the season for the Hawkley Hall racer, who moved up an age group class at the beginning of the season. Harvey Howard took second place in the prestigious race, held at Cheddar Gorge in Somerset, just two days after his ninth birthday. Harvey, who attends Marus Bridge Primary School, was urged on his way to the finishing line by proud parents Lindsey, 35, and Darren, 39, and by his sisters Elle, 13, and Lily, two.
