The Summit is a waterproof glove and it feels right in terms of its weight, with thin insulation and an instantly warm-touch lining.

The palm is synthetic suede and, with a silicon print on all fingers, it gives a good grip. There isn’t any padding, just an extra reinforcing patch over the key wear points.

We don’t really mind the lack of plush here, but if you know you have issues with numbness and usually need more absorption qualities, this isn’t the glove for you.

Because I’ve only been living in the Bay Area for a few months, I haven’t had much of a chance to experience the bike shops here. Most of the little things that happen, like flat tires and minor adjustments, I handle on my own, or with the help of the trusty boyfriend (who came from the boyfriend store complete with a full bike shop’s worth of tools). But I realize that not all the readers of this blog will have such a handy person in their lives, and sometimes when really big stuff happens to your bike, or you decide you need a new one, well, you just need to go to a shop.

Hey, I'm a mountain biker and I mean to take breaks and I want to be able to do some riding during the winter so I'm leaning toward the glove complete with all fingers.

Firstly, I do not recommend that you buy online. Go to a bike shop so you can try and have a pair that fit well.

Almost all mountain bike gloves, summer or winter, the fingers will use full.

If I were you, I would buy Pearl Izumi performance, thats the kind I have and they work hard.

I can see how you're picky. Boxing Gloves are the best, but for boxing. Just get a premium gloves mountain bike and you'll be so happy.
