Cannondale Mountain Bike Frame

Cannondale RZ One Forty Carbon 1 (10) | $6199.99

Cannondale’s Rize all-rounder becomes the ‘RZ’ for 2010, with the ‘One Forty’ sitting in the all-mountain category alongside the mighty Moto . Its low weight plus long and low ride character mean it’s definitely a bike that’s best for racing up and down mountains the most efficient way, rather than struggling to the summit and showboating down. There are more controlled, versatile and cheaper alternatives out there, though.

Still Flashy Article

Check out this excellent article by Jack Vestal about my Cannondale Ultimate Carbon Flash. It is WAY beyond belief about how nice this bike rides. I am disappointed with the comments on the article but those guys don't understand the circumstances. The bike was built with mostly new parts but we had to wait for a few things. I was so excited about getting the bike together I couldn't wait. And that bike endured an extrodinary amount of pounding on REAL MTB courses during the Intermontane Challenge and rode excellent. And I just won a 3 stage race in Peru on it racing it hard on tough mountain jungle terrain. That bike is beyond belief excellent for any terrain. As for that clamp - all I can say

Does anyone make a fully rigid frame mountain bike anymore?

I had 3 Cannondale rigid frame and loved .... all sold today. My favorite was a killer-v .... Cycling impressive. I'm riding a Trek 3900 with front suspension - but I have a complete picture frame.

Surly (www.surlybikes.com) does some bike frames.

I simply suggest to replace the fork you have with a rigid fork. I would be much cheaper than buying a new bike.
