We were supposed to get behind the wheel of the Scorpion, which combines high performance with eco-awareness in a car that Ronn Motor Co. claims gets 40 mpg, but fate had other plans. The Scorpion wasn’t sidelined because of mechanical gremlins, or because no one could find any fuel. No, it was kept off the track at Infineon Raceway north of San Francisco for the most mundane of reasons.

I am restoring an old bike dirt Honda SL125 and chrome on the handlebars and the wheels have been a bit of rust on them. Some parts of the band pretty, but its only surface rust. Nothing serious.
