If you said that mini bikes, or pocket bikes, as they also are called are just shrunk down full size motorcycles you wouldn’t be far off. These small and sleek machines looks just like smaller motorcycle with a smaller price tag attached, which is great news for all kinds of motosports enthusiasts and collectors all over the world. A mini bike will have all the important parts and design choices of a full size motorcycle built into a frame only 2 to 3 foot high. Powered by either a gas engine or a electrical engine these little machines can be used for professional racing or recreation and are very popular among all age groups.

There are many various designs of pocket bikes, all of which usually follows the designs of their larger siblings. For example, there are mini choppers which obviously looks like chopper motorcycles, mini racing bikes and mini pit bikes which looks like small versions of a motorcross bike. The designs can often be customized to your liking with different colors, decal and so on. The prices for a good pocket bike go as low as $350. You can get lower priced ones as well, but they usually wont be as well made as the more expensive ones. But this is not exercise in retro-chic: the Acciaio (the Italian for steel) is an out and out modern race bike, it shares the same geometry and fork as the Super Leggero , Condor's top end carbon race weapon and the bike used by the Rapha Condor... The TIG welded frame is made in Italy from a triple butted tubeset that's the result of a collaboration between Dedacciai and Condor, that draws on Condors more than 60 year history of building steel bikes. Condor's Ben Spurrier, who designed the Super Acciaio explained that the brief was to build a modern race bike from steel, so this is an exercise in stiffness, delivering power to the back wheel quickly and sharp, accurate handling.
