As avid car enthusiasts, we continually pursue building a car that is, to us, a pure experience. Back in the glory days of the 90s, “pure” sports cars were much easier to find – unfiltered by computers and black boxes, heavy safety regulations, and theater-like audio. Drivers were more pure too in the same estimation – they had to actually park their cars rather than let it park for them (or not rely on beeping to let them know when they are close enough). The all too common unnecessarily large SUV was nowhere to be found. Things were good. So how are we supposed to achieve that “pure driving experience” when today’s cars can be so diluted?
